{"id":292,"date":"2019-02-15T04:30:18","date_gmt":"2019-02-15T04:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beintea.ca\/?p=292"},"modified":"2019-02-11T04:31:17","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T04:31:17","slug":"chaga-tea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beintea.ca\/fr\/chaga-tea\/","title":{"rendered":"Chaga Tea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>v<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many mushrooms have medicinal properties, but have you ever tried mushroom tea?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If not, you may want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nutritionadvance.com\/chaga-mushroom-tea\/\">look into Chaga mushroom tea<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\n particular drink originates in the Russian\/Siberian region, and the \n\u2018Chaga\u2019 mushroom is native to much of Northern and Eastern Europe, and \nAsia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaga mushrooms are a type of fungus that grows on birch \ntrees, and making them into tea simply involves boiling a piece of the \ndried mushroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a common daily drink in Siberia, and people believe it has important health and longevity benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Is this belief backed by science?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, preliminary research into the potential benefits of the Chaga mushroom seems interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some\n promising studies suggest that Chaga tea extract has anti-tumor \nproperties and may inhibit oxidative DNA damage in human cells (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/15630179\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC4946216\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22135889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">6<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However,\n these clinical trials tend to use higher concentrations of the mushroom\n than what you will find in the tea.
